ADHESIVES (2:1) – Spray and allow to soak for 15 to 20 minutes. Scrub with brush or scraper, rinse clean.
AIR FILTERS (60:1) – Spray, let sit for 15 minutes, then rinse completely and dry before use.
ALL-PURPOSE CLEANER (30:1) – For regular jobs, apply and wipe. For hard jobs, spray on, scrub with a brush, and let stand for two minutes before wiping.
ALUMINUM (60:1) – Spray and wipe. If needed, allow to soak, then scrub before wiping.
APPLIANCES (30:1) – Spray, wait for 5 seconds, then wipe.
AQUARIUMS (30:1) – Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for cleaning, using the solution in place of soap or detergent. Rinse thoroughly and carefully, as aquariums are glass (see also GLASS).
“SAFE” helps eliminate odors from aquariums, snake habitats, and other pet areas without leaving a toxic residue.
NOTE: Take caution if pet spiders and insects live in the aquarium. “SAFE” emulsifies oil-based creatures (insects, spiders), so completely rinse the “SAFE” from surfaces before your pets return home.
ASH TRAYS (30:1) – Spray, rinse, then wipe.
AUTO EXTERIOR (30:1) – Work on a cool surface in the shade. Spray, wait 30 seconds to remove bugs and bird droppings, then wipe with a damp cloth.
Fill a bucket with 4–6 ounces of solution, add water, and use a sponge to clean the car. Rinse clean with a hose. “SAFE” run-off does not harm the environment or your landscaping.
NOTE: “SAFE” is an oil emulsifier and will emulsify wax. Always use a diluted solution (never concentrate), and rinse immediately and thoroughly with plenty of water to avoid stripping the wax finish. Wipe and rinse clean with a hose.
AUTO INTERIORS (60:1) – Note: for leather interiors, see section on LEATHER.
Spray solution on all surfaces to allow grime to begin breaking down while you work. Use a small brush or toothbrush to clean crevices.
Wipe each surface with a damp towel or cloth (spray with distilled or other purified water for greater cleaning power). Scrub where necessary, then follow with a dry cloth.
For fabric upholstery, use an aerating foamer pump dispenser with a light solution (60:1). Brush clean in a circular motion.
Lift stains by spot cleaning and pressing with a clean cloth, alternating between a damp and dry cloth.
AUTOMOTIVE PARTS (30:1) – Soak in a container filled with solution. Wipe or brush clean.
BABIES (60:1) – Use from a spray bottle or make a silky, foaming, bubbly “Baby Bath” with solution in an aerating foaming pump dispenser. It creates an easy, no-drip foam that you can lather on baby before placing them in the tub to rinse and play. You can also squirt or spray onto a soft sponge or puffy ball and agitate with hands into a gentle lather.
BABY BOTTOMS (60:1) – Make non-toxic baby wipes by spraying solution onto a soft, moist towel. Wipe baby’s bottom. For a foaming option, use an aerating foamer pump dispenser and apply one or two pumps onto a tissue for a gentle, chemical-free clean.
BABY TOYS (60:1) – Spray solution onto washable toys. If needed, use a small brush, then rinse.
BACKYARD STUFF (30:1) – Spray, soak, or scrub play equipment. Use water pressure if needed.
BASKETBALLS (30:1) – Spray, clean with a damp cloth. Use a brush if needed, then rinse.
BATHTUB MAT (30:1) – Spray both sides with solution. Wait 30 seconds, scrub with a brush, then rinse.
BATHTUBS (30:1) – Sponge on or spray solution on all surfaces. Wait 30 seconds, scrub with a brush, then rinse.
BATHROOMS (30:1) – “SAFE” can be used for every corner of your bathroom!
BEACH TAR (30:1) – Spray directly on tar. Rub with fingers, then rinse with ocean water if still at the beach! At home, use an old rag to wipe tar off feet, shoes, or other surfaces after spraying with “SAFE”. An aerating foam pump dispenser works great for the car. Don’t go to the beach without it!
BEVERAGE STAINS (60:1) – Place one paper towel behind the stain. Wet the stained area lightly with purified water. Spray solution on a second paper towel and press directly on the stain.
Press directly on the stain. Repeat procedure. Do not rub, dab to remove water and lift stain from material.
BICYCLES (30:1) – Spray solution on entire bike. Wipe with a damp cloth, then dry.
BIRD CAGES (60:1) – Dampen cloth thoroughly with “SAFE” and wipe all surfaces. Spray directly on droppings, then place a damp tissue on top for a few minutes. Let sit, then scrub if needed. Spray the bottom of the cage after cleaning to help prevent odor.
BLINDS (VENETIAN AND MINI) (60:1) – Use a damp cloth sprayed with solution, then wipe with a dry cloth.
BLOOD (30:1) – Use solution from a spray bottle or an aerating foamer pump dispenser on blood spots. Let soak, use a brush, then rinse. For larger spots, soak overnight. For mattresses, upholstery, and carpet, pump foam on the spot and wait for the stain to lift from the surface.
BOATS & YACHTS (30:1) – For areas coated with carbon or oil, spray with “SAFE” and wait up to 30 minutes. Wipe with a wet cloth. For other areas, wait 30 seconds to 2 minutes before wiping, depending on the surface. For vinyl seats, spray with “SAFE” and wipe with a damp cloth. Use a brush if needed.
BODY/BATH WASH (60:1) – “SAFE” is the soap of choice for the hypoallergenic, chemically sensitive, and health-conscious. Cleans well and does not irritate the skin.
BOWLING BALLS (30:1) – For a tacky bowling ball surface, spray with “SAFE” solution, then buff with a damp cloth.
BRASS (30:1) – Removes oils left from hands on railings and other brass surfaces. Spray solution on a damp cloth, wipe, then dry completely.
BRICKS (30:1) – Spray solution directly on bricks or dip a stiff brush into solution and scrub. Rinse. A heavier concentration may be needed for tough grime.
BRONZE (60:1) – Spray a cloth with solution, wipe, then dry completely.
BUG BITES (10:1) – Use a poultice made with “SAFE.” Helps break up the toxic venom from mosquitoes, wasps, bees, spiders, etc.
BUGS (60:1) – Since “SAFE” is an oil emulsifier and insects are oil-based, just spray to kill them!
BUG STAINS (30:1) – Spray on stain. Wait 30 seconds, then wipe with a wet cloth.
BURNED ON PLASTIC (& GLUE) (30:1) – Spray the burned-on plastic or glue and wait a few minutes. Then scrub with a stiff brush. Rinse.
CABINETS (60:1) – Laminated: Wipe with a cloth dampened with solution, then dry.
CAMPING GEAR (30:1) – Spray, scrub, and wipe. Great mildew deterrent and phenomenal for cleaning off soot from campfires! “SAFE” makes a great waterless hand and body wash and does not contaminate the ecosystem—perfect for camping!
CANDLE WAX REMOVAL (2:1) – Chill, crack, and peel off excess wax. Use 30:1 solution if on delicate fabric.
CAR (60:1) – Scrub with a sponge, rinse with a hose, then dry. See more details under AUTO INTERIOR and AUTO EXTERIOR.
CARPETS (300:1) – “SAFE” is great for carpets and rugs. Spray solution directly on the stain. Use a cloth to work into the spot. Wait 30 seconds, then blot and wipe with a lint-free cloth. Rinse with plenty of water and pat dry. Repeat for tougher stains.
For machine use, add ½ ounce of “SAFE” concentrate per gallon of water. Use soap solution only once, then rinse completely. Pre-spot with a stronger solution. Always test a small area first.
CATS (60:1) – Wash your cat as usual, replacing cat or flea shampoo with a 60:1 solution of “SAFE.” Squirt or foam from a dispenser starting at the top. Lather for 5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Kills fleas and ticks and is gentle on the skin.
CAT LITTER BOXES (30:1) – Empty litter, spray generously with solution to clean and control odor. Fill the box with water, wait 30 minutes, then rinse.
CAULKING, DRIED (30:1) – Spray on, wait 10 seconds, then wipe with a damp cloth.
CEILING FANS (60:1) – Wipe dust off. Spray a cloth with solution, then wipe and dry.
CEMENT (30:1) – Wet the area to be cleaned. Spray with “SAFE.” Use a stiff brush to scrub the area, then rinse. For very grimy surfaces, a heavier concentration may be needed.
CHROME (60:1) – Spray on and wipe with a damp sponge. Dry with a smooth cloth.
CLOSETS (60:1) – Spray shelves, walls, and floors, then wipe. To help deter bugs, leave a residue of “SAFE” solution in corners and crevices.
CLOTHES (30:1) – Clothes last longer when avoiding strong detergents, hot water, and rough agitation. “SAFE” is just as effective in cold water. Clothes can be washed in the gentle cycle by pre-soaking first. Always use a solution pre-mixed with water for best results.
SMALL LOADS or LIGHTLY SOILED: Use 2 to 3 ounces of 30:1 solution
MEDIUM LOADS or MEDIUM SOILED: Use 3 to 4 ounces of 30:1 solution
LARGE LOADS or HEAVILY SOILED: Use 4 to 6 ounces of 30:1 solution
Toxic residues from chemical detergents, which are absorbed by the skin, never fully rinse out. For better health, wash clothes with “SAFE” or GVP Soap Nuts.

COFFEE MACHINES (30:1) – Add 2 oz. of diluted “SAFE” to the coffee pot, then fill the rest with water. Pour into the coffee machine and turn it on. Once complete, run a pot of plain water through to rinse.
COLD SORES & FEVER BLISTERS (30:1) – Apply directly to the afflicted spot.
COMBS (30:1) – Spray and rinse after removing hair.
COPIER TONER (30:1) – Apply solution and wipe with a cloth. If the stained area shouldn't get wet, spray solution onto a cloth, wipe, then dry with a clean cloth.
COUNTER TOPS (60:1) – Apply solution, wait 1 minute, then sponge off. To remove stains, scrub before wiping.
CRAYON (30:1) – Spray and let sit for 30 seconds. Rub with a damp cloth. For painted walls or wallboard, test in an inconspicuous place first. Spray a damp cloth and rub gently.
CURTAINS (30:1) – Test on a hem to ensure curtains will not water stain. Spray on a moist cloth, then gently rub spots. Launder according to directions. “SAFE” works wonders in the gentle cycle and in cold water after pre-soaking.
WOOD (60:1) – Wet deck. Spray and let the solution sit for several minutes. Scrub deck with a stiff brush. Repeat if needed.
DELICATES (30:1) – Add 2 to 4 ounces of solution to a bucket, sink, or washing machine. Soak for 15–30 minutes. Soaking does the cleaning! Rinse using fresh water or run the gentle cycle.
DENTURES (30:1) – Soak in a container filled with a 30:1 solution. Brush with a toothbrush. Do not use on brand-new dentures—wait one month for the denture material to “set.” Dentures soaked in “SAFE” do not build up tartar.
DIAPER PAILS (30:1) – Spray with “SAFE” every time you empty it. Wait 5 minutes, then wipe. Re-spray to maintain freshness for the next load.
DIAPERS (30:1) – Rinse off solids. Soak in a bucket with 2–4 ounces of solution added to water. When ready to launder, rinse and transfer to the washing machine. For brighter whites, add food-grade hydrogen peroxide. Bleach is not recommended—Oxyclean is a non-toxic alternative.
DINING ROOM FURNITURE (100:1) – Lightly wipe furniture with a cloth dampened in solution. Follow with a dry cloth. Do not use on antique or varnished wood surfaces.
DIRT (60:1) – Grit from gardens or sports comes clean with solution. Soak if the dirt is ground in.
DISHES (30:1) – Add “SAFE” to a sink full of water for washing dishes, pots, and pans. Adjust strength based on how greasy the items are. For extra suds, spray solution directly on a sponge and agitate, or use an aerating foam pump dispenser. (“SAFE” doesn’t produce many suds but cleans exceptionally well.)
DISHWASHERS (30:1) – Commercial dishwasher detergents are a leading cause of childhood poisonings. Use “SAFE” to avoid chemical residues. Pre-spray heavily soiled or greasy dishes as you load them. Add 1–2 ounces of solution to the reservoir. Use more if you have hard water.
DISPOSALS (30:1) – Spray directly into the disposal to clean and remove buildup.
DOGS (60:1) – “SAFE” is safe for puppies, dogs, and other mammal pets (not insects). Use a sponge soaked in solution or apply with a squeeze bottle or foam dispenser. Lather your dog for at least 5 minutes, then rinse. Helps eliminate fleas, mites, and itching.
DOORS AND DOOR FRAMES (60:1) – Spray onto a clean cloth or directly on the surface to clean fingerprints, dirt, and grime. Rub gently.
DRAINS (30:1) – Pour 8 to 12 ounces of solution into the drain. Wait 2–5 minutes. Use a suction plunger, then rinse. Repeat as needed. Works great on grease clogs (will not dissolve hair).
DRAPES (30:1) – Test on a hem to ensure they won’t water stain. Mist “SAFE” solution on a moist cloth and gently rub spots. Launder as directed. Works well in the gentle cycle with cold water after presoaking.
DRAWERS (60:1) – Remove grit and help deter bugs by spraying and wiping the corners and linings.
DRIVEWAYS (30:1) – To remove oil stains, first spray with water, then with “SAFE.” Wait several minutes, scrub with a stiff brush, then rinse.
DRY ERASE BOARDS (60:1) – “SAFE” restores whiteboards rather than just smearing ink. Spray directly on the board and wipe with paper towel. For older ink, let soak and apply pressure.
Note: If the surface becomes hard to write on, rinse with pure water and dry completely.
DUST (300:1) – Spray solution on a clean cloth, then follow with a dry cloth.
ELECTRODE CONTACT (10:1) – Use as a wet contact or coupling agent instead of goopy, smelly gel for electronic muscle stimulators or exercisers.
ENGINES (30:1) – Cool the engine first. Hose off with water, then spray solution over all surfaces of the wet engine. Wait up to 30 minutes, scrub with a stiff brush, then rinse using strong water pressure. For heavy-duty engine cleaning, increase the concentration of the “SAFE” solution.
EXHAUST FANS (30:1) – Remove protective grille, spray, wait one minute, then wipe.
FABRIC (60:1) – See specific directions for the fabric type or stain you're treating.
FACES (60:1) – “SAFE” is the soap of choice for hypoallergenic, chemically sensitive, and health-conscious individuals.

FLOOR WAX REMOVAL (30:1) – Spray the floor generously with solution. Wait a few minutes, scrub with a stiff brush, then rinse and mop dry.
FLOORS (100:1) – Sweep to remove loose dirt and grit. For the entire floor, use a mixture of 1 ounce of concentrate per gallon of water.
For tough spots, spray a 60:1 solution directly on the area and rub until clean.
For tile floors: Use a soft brush to clean grout.
For vinyl flooring: Use a cloth to scrub hard-to-clean spots.
Dry with a soft cloth.
FLOWERS (100:1) – Try “SAFE” with cut flowers! They last longer and look brighter.
FOOD PREP AREAS (30:1) – Spray generously and wipe clean.
FOOD STAINS (30:1) – Spray a towel with solution. Wet the stain slightly with water, then gently rub using the dampened towel. Use fingers or a brush if needed. Rinse and blot to lift the stain.
Always place a clean cloth behind the spot to help pull it out from the front.
The sooner you apply “SAFE,” the better. Keep a small spray bottle in your car or purse to be ready!

FRUIT WASH (60:1) – Spray, rub, and rinse.
For small fruits (grapes, berries, cherries, etc.):
Place in a bowl, cover with water, and spray several times with solution. Let sit briefly, then swish, drain, and rinse with fresh water.
Removes pesticide residue.
FRUIT (THIN-SKINNED) (60:1) – Ideal for tomatoes, peaches, strawberries, and other thin-skinned fruits.
For heavily treated produce, let soak for 30–60 minutes before rinsing.

GLUE (& BURNED-ON PLASTIC) (30:1) – Spray the area and wait a few minutes. Scrub with a stiff brush or scrub pad, then rinse.
GLASS (300:1) – Spray a very diluted solution of “SAFE” directly on glass surfaces.
(Note: Higher concentrations tend to streak.) Wipe, then dry with a clean cloth.
GRASS GROWTH (100:1) – Add “SAFE” to a hose dispenser. Use 1 ounce of concentrate per gallon of water.
GRASS STAINS (30:1) – Dampen fabric, spray with “SAFE,” rub into the stain, then launder as usual.
GREASE (30:1) – “SAFE” is excellent on grease. Spray, let soak, wipe, and rinse. Use a stronger solution for tougher jobs.
GRILLS (30:1) – Spray and wait a minute or two. Scrub using a stiff-bristle brush dipped in water.

GROUT (30:1) – Spray solution into grout lines and wait at least 2 minutes. Scrub if needed, then rinse.
GUM (30:1) – Spray the gum, rub until it breaks apart, then rinse.
GYMWEAR (30:1) – Spray inside shoes, on socks, and on gym equipment to help eliminate mold, fungus, and germs.
HAIR (60:1) – A non-toxic, chemical-free shampoo for all ages.
For more lather, use an aerating foamer pump dispenser. Spray into hair, work into a lather, then rinse. Perfect for the chemically sensitive.
HAIRBRUSHES (30:1) – Spray and rinse after removing hair. If desired, soak in solution before rinsing clean.
HANDS (60:1) – People of all ages enjoy using an aerating foamer pump dispenser. Or simply spray hands, rub, and rinse. Works great even in cold water.
HARD WATER STAINS (30:1) – Spray and wait a few minutes. Scrub with a stiff brush.
HEAD LICE (10:1) – If possible, tie hair into a ponytail on top of the head. Using a spray bottle or aerating foamer pump dispenser, apply “SAFE” around the outer edge of the hairline, starting at the nape of the neck to block “escape routes.”
Continue applying toward the center of the head. Lather thoroughly and twist the ends of hair to scrub the scalp, helping to loosen nits (eggs).
If the hair has not been treated with pediculicide: Leave on for 20–30 minutes.
If treated: Leave on for 45–60 minutes.
Rinse thoroughly, dry with a blow dryer, and brush hair 600 strokes.
Dilute remaining solution with equal parts water and use daily as shampoo.
HEARTH STONES (30:1) – Spray, then wipe.
HEEL MARKS / SCUFFS (30:1) – Spray the scuffed area, wait a minute or two, and wipe. Scrub with a stiff brush if needed.
HOT TUBS (30:1) – Spray the empty hot tub, wipe with a cloth, and scrub with a brush if needed. Use 1 pint of 30:1 solution per 1,000 gallons of water to prevent buildup.
HUMIDIFIER ADDITIVE (30:1) – Instead of using antibacterial additives, add a few squirts of “SAFE” each time you fill the humidifier. It prevents bacterial growth in the wick and helps clean interior scum and dirt. You’ll breathe cleaner, toxin-free air.
INDUSTRIAL MACHINES (30:1) – Spray, scrub, and rinse. Use a stronger solution if necessary.
INK (30:1) – Spray on the stain, rub, then launder. May not remove stains that were already laundered.
INSECTS (60:1) – Spray infested areas and allow the residue to dry to deter bugs. Spray entry points to keep insects out. Use stronger dilutions if needed. Spray directly on bugs to kill them. Also effective at removing fleas and mites from pet fur.
JEWELRY (60:1) – Soak overnight in solution. Use a soft brush if needed, then rinse and dry. Alternatively, spray with “SAFE,” brush gently, then rinse and dry.
Not recommended for opals and pearls.
KIDS (60:1) – “SAFE” is a gentle cleanser for hypoallergenic, chemically sensitive, and health-conscious children.
KITCHEN APPLIANCES (60:1) – Spray, wait 5 seconds, then wipe.

If laundry is especially greasy or soiled, soak for at least 30 minutes or overnight if needed. Use the pre-soak feature on your washing machine, or fill as usual and allow to agitate for 2 minutes. Stop the wash cycle for the desired soaking time, then resume washing.
“SAFE” cleans just as powerfully in cold water as it does in hot. Since hot water breaks down fabric and dyes, cold water washing with “SAFE” helps your clothes last longer and look better.
NOTE: Local water quality varies. “Hard” water (high mineral content) will require more “SAFE” than “soft” water. Minerals in hard water may also cause dull or discolored whites.
For brighter whites, consider a water softener instead of bleach. “SAFE” reactivates residues in previously bleached clothing, which should disappear after several washes. Food-grade hydrogen peroxide can be added for a non-toxic whitening effect.
Commercial laundry detergents often contain harmful carcinogens that remain in fabrics and get absorbed by the skin. This can lead to toxin buildup in the body. “SAFE” is completely non-toxic and carcinogen-free. For safe laundry, use “SAFE” or GVP Soap Nuts.
LAWN FURNITURE (30:1) – Spray, then wipe. Clean regularly to prevent stains from setting.
LEATHER (60:1) – Test for color fastness in an inconspicuous area. Spray solution on a damp cloth and wipe. For tough stains, gently brush with a small soft brush.

MARKERS (30:1) – Spray on the stain, rub vigorously, then launder. May not remove set-in stains that were previously washed.
MAKEUP REMOVAL (60:1) – Spray a washcloth with solution, then wipe off makeup. Use a gentle foam from an aerating pump for mascara. Lather eyelashes, then rinse.
MEDICINE CABINETS (60:1) – Empty first, then spray and wipe clean.
METAL (60:1) – Spray, then wipe. Use a stiff brush if needed.
MINI-BLINDS (60:1) – Close blinds. Wipe with a damp cloth sprayed with solution, then dry with a soft cloth.
MIRRORS (600:1) – Use ½ ounce of “SAFE” concentrate per gallon of purified water. Spray, rub, and wipe. Buff dry with a soft cloth.
If streaking occurs, dilute with more water.
MOBILE HOME / MOTORHOME (30:1) – Spray bug stains, tar, and soiled spots with solution. Scrub with a brush.
Mix 1 oz. of “SAFE” concentrate per gallon of water and apply with a sponge or brush. Rinse clean. (See also: R/Vs)
MOTOR OIL (30:1) – “SAFE” emulsifies oil safely—great for hands and equipment. Excellent for wildlife cleanup after oil spills.
Note: Many dish soaps, like Dawn, contain harmful chemicals and are not eco-friendly.
MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS (300:1) – Spray on a lightly dampened cloth, then wipe the instrument gently.
NUTS AND BOLTS (60:1) – Soak in solution for 30 minutes, then wipe or brush clean. For stubborn grease or corrosion, use a stronger dilution.
ODORS (30:1) – Spray on smelly surfaces. Wait 1–2 minutes, then wipe clean.
OFFICE EQUIPMENT (60:1) – Wipe with a slightly damp towel moistened with solution. Dry immediately. Excellent for removing tape residue.
OIL, OIL SPILLS & OIL SPOTS (30:1) – Spray, wait briefly, scrub with a brush, then wipe with a damp cloth. Use a stronger mix for heavy buildup.
OLD / ANTIQUE PAINTED SURFACES (300:1) – Spray and wipe gently.
OLD / ANTIQUE PAINT REMOVAL (10:1) – Use a strong solution or raw concentrate. Apply with a cloth or brush. Wait several minutes before wiping clean.
(Multiple applications may be necessary.)
Wait at least 5 minutes. Wipe with a wet cloth. Use a fine grade steel wool if needed to get into crevices. As with any paint or varnish remover, re-apply if needed.
OUTDOOR FLOORS (30:1) – Spray and mop.
OVENS (30:1) – Spray the inside of a slightly warm oven (not over 100°F) with water, then spray with “SAFE.” Wait a few minutes. Reapply if needed. Scrub racks with a stiff brush, then wipe the oven interior with a wet cloth. Dry with a paper towel or clean rag. No gloves or open windows required!
OXIDATION ON CARS (30:1) – Use solution with plenty of water (as in regular car washing) to remove oxidation and heavy grime.
PAINT AND WOOD STAIN (30:1) – Ideal for artists and DIYers. “SAFE” effectively emulsifies oil-based paints and stains.
PAINT BRUSHES (60:1) – Soak the brush in solution, then rinse with warm water. Works well for both oil and water-based paints.
PANTRIES (60:1) – Spray empty cupboards, wipe, and rinse.
Do not use on unfinished or varnished wood surfaces.
PATIO FURNITURE (30:1) – Spray, wipe, then dry.
PERMANENT MARKER STAINS (10:1) – Spray on the stain, rub vigorously, then launder. May not remove stains that are already set in.
PERSONAL HYGIENE (60:1) – Spray onto a washcloth, lather, then wash and rinse. Avoid contact with eyes.
An aerating foamer dispenser creates a soft, velvety lather. Adjust concentration based on your skin’s oiliness.
PET ODORS (30:1) – Spray the smelly surface. Wait a minute or two, then rinse and wipe.
PET STAINS (30:1) – Spray stained surface, wait 1–2 minutes, rinse, then wipe. Scrub with a stiff brush if needed.
PETS (60:1) – (For mammals) Place your pet in the tub and wet their fur. Spray or lather with solution using a squeeze bottle or foamer. Avoid the eyes. Rinse well.
Not suitable for pet insects or spiders. Works wonders on cages, especially for snakes or odor-prone animals.
PLANTS (HOUSE & GARDEN) (300:1) – Mist directly on houseplants and gently wipe leaves.
For outdoor plants, add 1 oz. of concentrate to a 2-gallon sprayer. Use monthly to promote hydration and plant health.
PLAQUE & TARTAR (60:1) – Spray or foam directly onto a toothbrush with or without toothpaste. Brush as usual. Also great for cleaning the tongue.
PLASTIC (30:1) – Spray, then wipe.
POISON IVY (30:1) – Spray and rub onto affected skin immediately after contact with the plant. “SAFE” dissolves the toxic oils and reduces irritation.
POOL FILTERS (30:1) – Soak, then rinse thoroughly.
POOL TILES (30:1) – Spray and wipe. Scrub with a stiff brush if needed.
POOLS (30:1) – For empty pools: spray, wipe, and rinse. Scrub with a stiff brush if necessary.
POTS & PANS (30:1) – Burned-on food is easier to remove after soaking in solution.
PRESSURE WASHING (600:1) – Add 1 ounce of “SAFE” concentrate per gallon of water.
PRINTING PRESSES (30:1) – Spray, then wipe. Use a stronger solution if needed.
PURSES (300:1) – Spray a cloth with solution and wipe the purse clean. Dry with a clean cloth.
RANGE HOODS (30:1) – Spray the hood, wipe with a damp cloth. Spray the screen, then wipe or scrub with a brush if needed.
REFRIGERATORS (30:1) – Spray, wait 5 seconds, then wipe clean.
RESTROOMS (30:1) – Spray, wait 30 seconds, then wipe with a damp cloth. Scrub with a brush if needed, then wipe again.
R/V’s (30:1) – Use 1 ounce of concentrate per gallon of water. Spray solution to remove bugs, tar, and grit. Sponge clean, then rinse.
SCREENS (30:1) – Rinse screens with water. Spray directly using a misting pump and scrub with a soft brush.
Alternatively, mix 1 oz. concentrate per gallon of water, dip brush in, scrub, then rinse.
SCUFF MARKS (30:1) – Spray the scuffed surface, wait 1–2 minutes, then wipe. Scrub with a stiff brush if needed.
SHAMPOO (60:1) – Use an aerating foam dispenser or spray directly into hair. Lather, then rinse. One of the few totally non-toxic shampoos available.
SHAVING (60:1) – Use an aerating foam pump dispenser to create a rich, foamy lather. A safe, chemical-free alternative to traditional shaving creams.
SHOES (60:1) – Spray, then wipe. Shoes are made from various materials—refer to leather, vinyl, plastic, fabric, or scuff marks as needed.
SHOWERS (30:1) – Spray all surfaces. Wait 10 seconds, then scrub with a brush and rinse.
SHOWER CURTAIN (30:1) – Spray thoroughly and leave overnight. Rinse before your next use.
SHOWER DOOR (30:1) – Spray and scrub with a wet brush. Rinse and dry. Repeat if necessary.
SHOWER TILE (30:1) – Spray and wait 10 seconds. Scrub with a rag or brush.
Note: Will not bleach old mildew stains but prevents new mold growth by removing soap scum.
SINKS (30:1) – Spray, wait 30 seconds, then wipe. Use a brush for stubborn buildup.
SMOKE DAMAGE (30:1) – Spray affected area, then wipe or scrub with a brush. Rinse and repeat if needed. Use stronger solution if necessary.
SOAP SCUM (30:1) – Spray, wait 60 seconds, then wipe and rinse.
SOOT (30:1) – Spray surface, then wipe with a damp cloth. Scrub with a stiff brush if necessary.
SPAS & HOT TUBS (30:1) – Spray inside empty spa or tub, wipe and scrub.
To maintain: add 1 pint of 30:1 solution per 1,000 gallons of water to prevent buildup.
SPOTS & STAINS (30:1) – For specific stain types, see relevant entries (e.g., rust, blood, ink).
General use: Place a paper towel behind the stain, wet stain lightly with purified water, spray solution on another towel, and dab on the stain. Follow with more water and a clean towel. Press to lift stain.
STAINLESS STEEL (60:1) – Spray, then wipe with a clean cloth.
STEEL (30:1) – Spray, wipe, and scrub with a brush if needed.
STOVETOPS (30:1) – Spray, wait a few seconds, then wipe with a damp cloth.
Burned-on food may require soaking and scrubbing. Soak tools overnight if needed. Reapply as necessary.

For mildew: leave on longer before wiping and rinsing.
STUFFED ANIMALS (300:1) – Lather lightly using an aerating foam dispenser. Rinse fur gently with outward water spray to avoid soaking the stuffing. Dry with a fluffy towel.
Test on small area first, especially with dyed fabrics.
TAR (10:1) – Spray, scrub with a stiff brush, then rinse.
A powerful, non-toxic tar remover.
TEETH (300:1) – Use foam or misted spray directly on a toothbrush, with or without toothpaste. Brush as usual.
Optional: add food-grade peppermint or cinnamon oil for flavor.
TILE (30:1) – Spray and scrub with a damp cloth. Rinse well.
Helps remove soap scum and prevents mold and mildew.
TIRES (60:1) – Spray, scrub with a stiff brush, rinse, then buff dry.
TIRE MARKS (10:1) – Spray, wait 1–2 minutes, scrub with stiff brush, then rinse.
TOBACCO STAINS (30:1) – Spray, wait 30 seconds, scrub with a small brush, then rinse.
TOILETS (30:1) – Spray seat, bowl, and surrounding floor. Scrub bowl with a brush. Wipe seat, sides, and floor with a damp cloth. Add 2 oz. of 30:1 solution to the tank for hard water.
TOOL BOXES (30:1) – Empty, spray into corners and crevices. Wipe tools and organize. Dry toolbox before reloading.
TOYS (30:1) – Spray onto a damp cloth and wipe. For soaking, use 2 oz. per gallon. Scrub if needed, then rinse and dry.
TREE SAP (10:1) – Spray, wait at least 1 minute, scrub, and wipe.
TUB & TILE (30:1) – Spray, wait 10 seconds, scrub with brush, then rinse.
UPHOLSTERY (30:1) – Mist lightly. Scrub with damp brush and wipe with damp cloth. See also VINYL and FABRIC.
URINE ODORS / STAINS (30:1) – Spray directly on carpet or fabric. Wait 60–130 minutes, rinse, then pat dry. For clothing, pre-soak and launder.
VARNISHED SURFACES (600:1) – Spray, wipe with damp cloth, then dry.
VARNISH REMOVAL (10:1) – Apply strong solution or concentrate. Wait 30 minutes, wipe with wet cloth. Multiple applications may be needed.
VEGETABLES (60:1) – Spray and rinse or soak in water with sprayed solution. Removes pesticides.
VENTS (30:1) – If removable, spray and wipe after a few minutes. If not, spray a cloth, wipe surface.
VINYL (60:1) – Spray, then wipe with damp cloth. For floors, use mop or sponge. Scrub with nylon brush if needed.
VINYL AUTO TOPS (60:1) – Spray and clean with damp cloth.
WALLPAPER (300:1) – Test first. Spray a damp cloth and wipe gently.
WALLPAPER STRIPPING (30:1) – Spray wallpaper, wait a few minutes to soak glue. Peel off; use scraper if needed.

WAX REMOVAL (10:1) – Chill and peel wax. Apply solution, wait 5 minutes, wipe, scrub. Repeat if needed. Use milder dilution on delicate fabrics.
WHITE BOARDS (30:1) – Spray, then wipe.
WINDOW FRAMES (60:1) – Spray and wipe. Rinse and dry with soft cloth.
WINDSHIELDS / WIPER FLUID (30:1) – Add 1 oz. to wiper fluid tank. Helps remove bugs and grime. Reuse “SAFE” bottle rinse water as cleaner.
WOOD DECKS (30:1) – Excellent for pressure washers. Scrub with stiff brush. Dry thoroughly afterward, especially on unsealed wood.
WOOD FLOORS (300:1) – Spray, then mop with damp mop.
WOUNDS (30:1) – Wash wounds and cuts with this solution. Safe and pure for cleaning injuries.
